Leo - 2 months
My little man is growing! He is now weighing in at a whooping 11 pounds (25%) and is 22.5 inches long (25%). He is such a sweet baby and we are having so much fun with him. He has really continued to change in the past month. He has begun cooing and squealing and gave his first big smile to the ceiling fan. He is a good eater and sleeper and is finally on a fairly consistent routine of eat, cat-nap, play, big nap, eat, cat-nap, play, big nap.... Mommy is having a fun time trying to work dissertation writing into the naps! He still nurses and takes a bottle with ease and absolutely has a love affair with his pacis. Leo is such a tough boy and has not let his weekly casts on his right leg slow him down. Thursday, 2/10/11 he had surgery to release his Achilles Tendon and went to the OR with the nurse without a peep...Mommy cannot claim the same thing! Luckily it was a very quick 30 minute surgery and he was back in our arms in no time. He continues to love his playmat and seems to really enjoy being laid down and allowed to kick ( his non-casted leg, the other is far too heavy :o( He gets out of his last cast on 2/28 and will then sport some stylish shoes with a bar between them that will keep his little now-un-clubbed foot turned out. He has made a trip to Baytown, to Spring, to Brownwood and will be headed to Fort Worth in the near future and seems to love his car seat (a.k.a. passes out cold about thirty seconds after the keys hit the ignition)! We are so blessed to have such a happy, easy going little guy who brings joy to our lives daily.
