The move for Leo seemed pretty simple if not fun. He was a perfect angel the whole time. Even the packers and loaders from the moving company separately commented on how they hadn't heard him cry on the days they were in our home. He is such an awesome baby. In addition to our family move, Leo had some moving of his own, as he is getting better and better at sitting independently and we're thinking crawling may just be around the corner. The other changes for Leo took place in his sweet candy pink gums as he had two teeth decide to move in...he was even a champ through teething.
We have been lucky during this time to have my mom with us for a few weeks hanging out with Leo and basically just keeping this new working mommy from going completely bonkers. THANK YOU MOM!!! Before our move we had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with family and friends in the D/FW area.
So, for Leo's 8 month post...which actually came a couple of weeks late:
-He is an awesome baby
-He LOVES his jumper entertainment center
-He is learning to tolerate baby food a little better
-He is sitting up, but will occasionally still topple backwards
-He is not a fan of being on his hands and knees
-He LOVES to grab and pull out Mommy's hair...Mommy doesn't appreciate this...
-He enjoys watching Wonder Pets and Backyardigans and has a surprisingly good attention span
-Dadada is his favorite phrase, but he is also making other funny sounds as well
-He is growing by leaps and bounds and has pretty much outgrown all of his 9 month pjs
-He loves music and has started occasionally singing along in church
-He still is a drooler extraordinaire
-The sound of packing tape being pulled off the role causes a very entertaining reaction...hopefully a video will soon come
-He LOVES to swim and take baths
Overall, he is the light of our lives and whether it be 3 am or any other time of the day his hugs and smiles will always melt my heart.
