On March 7th my sweet husband was adopted by his dad. This is a rather crazy, but heart warming story. John and Grace, my in-laws, were married when Scott was a teenager. At the time, rather than proceeding through the adoption of Scott, his name was officially changed to become a Cassady. On Friday, 3/7, we made a trip down to a Fort Worth Courthouse were John officially adopted his 42 year old son. To say it was a special morning, would be an understatement. I know Scott will always cherish what his dad has done for him and I am so glad to have been a part of it.
