Leo - 3 years and a half birthday party

My Leo - you astound us daily.  You continue to be the sweetest, loving little boy and absolutely adore your little sister.  It is so much fun to watch you interact with her.  You seem to have begun talking non-stop lately which is fun, but a bit exhausting for Mommy's ears.  You absolutely love cooking with me.  Whenever you see me in the kitchen you come running in, grab a kitchen chair and drag it to the island, and start stirring anything available.  You still won't eat much other than waffles, chicken nuggets, and peanut butter and honey sandwiches, though.  Your love for suckers though is quite impressive and you generally wake up asking for one every morning.
Our morning routine typically consists of you hanging out in bed until I appear in your doorway.  You still haven't figured out that you can get out of your bed whenever you want to and I am certainly okay with that!  We usually come into the living room and you snuggle with Annie in my lap and we watch Mickey Mouse.  Even though I am sleepy, because your sister doesn't care much about sleeping, it is my absolute favorite part of the day.  You usually start roaming around the living room, fussing at Lucy, you are not much of a morning person and she is just too in your space for your liking, but you eventually warm up to her.  You have enjoyed going to Sonshine School and just participated in your first program.  I thought my heart might burst when I saw you up on the stage in the church building doing the hand motions for the Noah's Ark song.  We love you so much and are so proud of the little boy you are becoming.  Thank you for being so awesome!

Sonshine School Spring Program  - Check out Leo's bow at the very end!

Instead of having a birthday party during crazy business Christmas time we decided to celebrate your half birthday.  You had a Mickey Mouse themed party and seemed to love every minute of it!  We had a special "surprise" visit by Princess Sophia from Disney's Sophia the First.  Leo loves this cartoon and our nanny, Hannah, works as a party princess.  She had a party to go to after his, so she conveniently changed into her princess costume at our house and made a brief appearance.  He was a tiny bit confused (trying to figure out if it was Sophia or his Hannah) and a whole-lot in love.

 Annie photo-bombed!

Leo snagged a green MnM before I got this picture taken...stinker!
