Leo - 11 months

My little lion has turned into quite the little bundle of fun, energy, curiosity, and joy. He laughs constantly at himself, at us, at the cats, and at absolutely nothing. He is a crawling fool and into everything. The cats are now terrorized on an hourly basis, but he loves them soooo much...the feeling is not mutual, however! His newest favorite toys are the empty milk and juice jugs that we set in the kitchen floor waiting to be thrown out. To this it is also necessary to add the door stop spring among his favorites. He is full of life and it is so fun to watch his daily discoveries. He loves being outside and every time we come home feels it necessary to announce his arrival via the door knocker.

As of late, food has been on his short list of things he could do without along with sleep at night, but we are working to remedy both.

Of all the things he loves most, three things seem to top the list. Mommy, Daddy, and bathtime. He lights up when he sees his Daddy and dada remains his phrase of choice. Leo has a unique love of bathtime. He genuinely gets excited, arms and legs flailing, when he hears the water turn on or when you carry him towards the bathroom. I think he would stay in there for hours if we'd let him. Overall, much akin to his other monthly posts, Leo is the joy of our lives. We have loved getting to experience Halloween with him and are anticipating Thanksgiving, his 1st birthday *sniff*, and Christmas as we know it will be an absolute blast (if we can keep him from eating the wrapping paper)!!!
